Information on each venue site/weekend have been posted, and are available as links from the www.usasa.org site.  Once there, navigate to Regions, and then Intermountain.

The opener at Brighton is still a go for sure, I just don't have any real specific information to offer as far as ticket pricing etc, as they have not given it to me.  This will be updated as soon as I get it.

Thanks to all Team members/family/friends who have helped with our various fundraiser efforts thus far.  The SWAP was a success and Jans Winter Welcome looks solid as well.  These efforts allow us to focus on snow, rather than accounting spreadsheets and all to close bottom lines!

Drew Brighton is starting off his season quite well with 2 great finishes.  The first was a 17th in HP at the New Zealand Open @ Snowpark (he was injured for the SS) and the other result was just across the ocean at the Australian Open with a 13th place finish in Slopestyle against a crew of the full sponsed heavy hitter types.  Congrats Drew!

MT Hood/Welches OR    WHIFFLE BALL GAME #1

Official score PC=5  SV=0

2 ½ years in the pre-planning…finally game 1 of what we found out to NOW be a best of 7 series (bring it on-we are not afraid) between Sun Valley and Park City in WHIFFLE BALL full field steez(well little league full field...come on its only a whiffle ball).

Under beautiful 80 degree temps in Welches, OR Game 1 was under way!  A 5 inning game with modified pitch/strike/out count.  Even team sizes of 9 vs 9 including 2 coaches from each side.

Starting pitchers were MB for PC and AG for SV.  PC Team was up front as the visiting squad and went up 2-0 after inning 1.  Pitching and defense tightened for inning 2.  SV Team made a rally attempt, loading the bases in the 3rd inning behind strong team hitting including HB, but stranded all baserunners without scoring.  PC Team had runners on the corners top of the 4th, MB whacked SF frozen rope over 3rd base in to left field scoring 1, with runners again on the corners.  2 more PC hits scored runners before the side could be retired…totaling 5 runs.  SV Team was unable to put numbers up on the board in the bottom of the 5th…ending the game.

Both sides enjoyed a BBQ cookout après-game together, a la maison de SV.  Thanks SV it was FUN!
